Call to Artists for Spokane VegFest

INVeg will be hosting the 4th annual Spokane VegFest Healthy Living Expo on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 at Spokane Community College.  The event features cooking and dancing classes, a music festival, farmers market, food trucks and much more. The purpose of this event is to help educate the public about a more sustainable way of living for humans, animals, and the planet, as well as introducing guests to local and national vendors. We would love to have a variety of local artists and crafters showcased at this event- more than ever before. This event draws visitors from all over Washington, as well as Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Canada. In 2016, we had approximately 3,000 visitors and we are expecting another record number of attendees for 2017.

We welcome artists of all types – painters, sculptors, clothing/jewelry makers, woodworkers, body art/face painting, caricatures, crafters, photographers and more. We have wanted to add the creativity and beauty of local art as a component of VegFest from day one. Unfortunately, in years prior there simply wasn’t enough space. We are making VegFest bigger than ever this year and have many affordable vendor booths – both inside and outside. Indoor booths come with a table, electricity, and air conditioning. We are also fine with artists sharing a booth to split costs. We will work to ensure that our local artists get excellent placing- whether indoors or out. However, spaces are filling up and will begin to fill up faster once our billboards go up.
